Meet Kendall

Kendall Vanderslice is a professionally trained baker and food scholar whose research centers on the ways relationships are built around the table.

She is a graduate of Boston University (Master of Liberal Arts in Gastronomy) and Duke University (Master of Theological Studies) as well as the author of three books, We Will Feast, By Bread Alone, and Bake & Pray.

Throughout her graduate education, Vanderslice worked for numerous award winning restaurants and bakeries in the Boston area. In 2018, she was named a James Beard Foundation National Scholar.
